Pinatix terms of use

Pinatix provides event discovery, ticket ordering, ticket validation, choir competition registration and licensed digital-music marketplace services. Event organizers, composers/rightsholders and registering choirs remain responsible for the information and rights they submit to the platform.

Tickets and events

Each issued ticket contains a unique code. Copying or sharing a ticket may cause the first valid scan to consume the ticket and later scans to be rejected. Event organizers remain responsible for venue arrangements, event content, schedule changes and organizer-specific event conditions.

Orders and payments

A paid ticket, choir registration or music licence is only treated as active after payment is confirmed. Manual payment orders may remain pending while Pinatix or the authorized organizer verifies the transaction.

Composer and rightsholder uploads

A composer, arranger, publisher or other uploader must own or control the rights required to license each submitted work. Uploading a work does not transfer copyright to Pinatix. Pinatix may fingerprint uploaded masters, record protection timestamps and declarations, generate licensed watermarked copies, and suspend or remove works while bona-fide rights disputes are reviewed.

Music licences

Purchasing a score grants the named choir, school or institution the licence stated at checkout. Copyright ownership is not transferred. Licensed score files may not be resold, publicly reposted, forwarded to unrelated ensembles, stripped of identifying licence markings or represented as another person's composition.

Competition repertoire and composer royalties

When an organizer selects a Pinatix-listed work as prescribed repertoire, the competition stores the stated per-choir licence allocation. A registering choir must accept the competition and repertoire terms before registration. Composer royalty allocations, organizer allocations and Pinatix service fees are recorded separately for transparent accounting.

Copyright disputes

Cryptographic file fingerprints and timestamps can show that a particular digital master was uploaded at a particular time and can detect exact duplicate files. They do not by themselves establish legal authorship or detect every re-engraved, transcribed or compositionally similar work. Pinatix may request supporting evidence and use human review for disputes.
